ABOUT THE BOOK

Knowing Jesus through His Miracles allows the reader to experience Jesus’ miracles within the context of His time and culture and their relevance for us today. Although it would be impossible to describe all the miracles of Jesus in many volumes, this book deals with thirty-eight specific occasions of His miracle-working power. Jesus’ miracles are described in four categories: physical healing, spiritual warfare, natural phenomena, and resurrection of the dead, with special attention to Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus was given all power and authority by the Father above so that all disease, the forces of evil, nature, and even death were subject to Him. Jesus was fully God and fully man. Being fully man, Jesus experienced human emotions, frustration, anger, and impatience. In all His humanity, He never sinned. He was the sinless sacrifice for the sin of mankind. On the cross, He experienced pain and suffering not for His own sin, but for ours. Knowing Jesus as God, we see His compassion, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We understand God as a loving Father who desires a relationship with humanity and gave His most precious gift to restore this relationship that was broken in Eden. This book is an excellent resource for Adult Bible Studies, and High School or college-level texts.

They called Him Teacher (2020)

Xulon Press 13: 978-1-6322-1569-7

This book discusses teaching strategies, methods, approaches for teaching and learning, and Biblical analysis of their effectiveness. It is designed to portray not only what Jesus taught, but also how He taught it. He knew what to teach and how to do it in ways that are comprehensible to man and can be emulated. It is an attempt to help dedicated teachers in schools and churches understand their high calling as teachers. Of all the professions known today and existing in the days of Jesus, the Son of God allowed Himself to be called “Teacher” (John 13:13).

Tell Me the Stories of Jesus: Unpacking the Parables (2021)

Xulon Press -13:978-1-6628-2840-9

This book addresses thirty-four of the Parables Jesus taught.  The Parables are showcased within the context and culture of the diverse peoples of Jesus’ time. The lessons taught are timeless, appropriate for all people groups and cultures of every century because they address common attributes of all mankind and the eternal attributes of the Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Delving into the teachings of Jesus allows the reader insight into the wisdom he displayed, his understanding of human nature, his love for humanity, and his omniscient grasp of the workings of the enemy of our souls.  The Parables demand critical thinking on the part of the readers as they assess their own lives and motivations in the light of Jesus’ expectations.
